FWM86 – Inviting Destinations

Bright, uplifting, inspiring compositions blend electro sensibilities with global grooves.

We are pleased to announce the release of “Inviting Destinations”. Lindsay has always had a love for composing electronica, and especially Electro Chill. With this project she chose to create a bit of a hybrid, combining electro chill with world grooves and textures. This makes it ideal as underscore for travel/vacation and food shows as well as documentaries. Produced, recorded and mixed at Lindsay’s studio “Datolite Recording” and mastered by the awesome Jim Kissling.

FWM83 – Bare Bones Cello

This collection of pieces for cello scales down the orchestration, but leaves all the fun. With the help of a walking bass, the voice of the cello explores a wide range of styles including the tango, a jig, old-timey jazz, classical, an Asian melody and even a fiddle tune.

Stefanie Fife:

After spending much of her career recording film music in the cello sections of large orchestras for composers such as Michael Giacchino, Hans Zimmer and Danny Elfman, cellist/composer Stefanie Fife was thrilled to reduce the orchestration to just cello, and write her own music. Feeling a little lonesome without a hundred musicians around her, Stefanie asked long time friend Larry Tuttle to hold down the bass lines, and she created this album of up-tempo and quirky songs.

Frameworks welcomes guitarist, composer Doug Hamblin to our family with his new album “America’s Backroads”.

How many guitarists can say they have shared the stage with Ray Charles, AND the Ramones? From late 70s new wave (Jo Allen and The Shapes) to Blues De Luxe (Southside Johnny Lyon), to his own critically acclaimed Doug Hamblin Jan Fanucci band…his 30 plus years as an eclectic stylist in blues, rock, and Americana have led to touring, recording and collaborations with many of the greats in the music world: a partial list would have to include Albert King, Johnny Rivers, Stephen Stills, Southside Johnny Lyon, Steve Miller, Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, Chris Hillman, The Rolling Stones’ Bernard Fowler and Blondie Chaplin, and John Prine.

A veteran of both the ‘new wave’ and the ‘blue wave’, Doug’s music spans a broad range of rock and roll and roots music.
